Dan Lee

Dan is a Professional Engineer (P.E.), a LEED AP BD+C, with 15 years of architectural, engineering, and Silicon Valley management experience. He is currently the Director of Data Center Design at Facebook, where he supported the mechanical design and construction for their first greenfield data center in the U.S. and the first data center sites in Europe. Prior to Facebook, Dan has 7 years of consulting engineer experience in San Francisco and Chicago with a focus on mission critical HVAC design.

Dan is also a partner at Namu Gaji, a popular San Francisco restaurant known for its farm to table, Asian-inspired dishes, reflecting Korean traditions and using fresh, local and organic ingredients. In a unique collaboration, Dan is co-partners with his brothers – Dennis is Namu Gaji’s Executive Chef and David is Operations Manager.

In addition, Dan grew up in the Boston area and has a BSE from the University of Michigan. He also serves on the board of Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality, and enjoys photography, bicycling, and watching movies.
