Dennis is a second-generation Korean American originally hailing from NY/NJ and now a San Francisco resident. He just finished his tour of duty as a television producer for the Discovery Channel show MythBusters and is now working as the Senior Mechanical Engineer for Kitty Hawk, a Silicon Valley technology company dedicated to moving people more quickly and efficiently through personal flight, putting his degree in mechanical engineering (from Rutgers University) to work again. Dennis’s previous jobs included developing volumetric displays, working in the aerospace industry, and doing special effects. Between jobs, he took a “gap year” and traveled around the world. Looking for a connection to the Korean Community, Dennis became a member of the Korean American Professional Society (KAPS), then served as KAPS Community Service Officer before becoming its Vice President and then President.
