A longtime advocate for community services and volunteerism, Junne has been actively involved with non-profit organizations and local schools in the Bay Area since she began her high tech marketing career over 25 years ago. While she provides consulting services in marketing strategy and planning, Junne also mentors AVID (low income, first-generation college-bound) students with college application readiness and serves on the Board for the Mountain View Education Foundation. She and her husband, Tony, are busily parenting two energetic daughters and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Growing up and living in the Bay Area since the early 1970s, it was an easy decision for Junne when asked to join a group of passionate professionals with a desire to launch KACF-SF. She is one of the original 13 Founding Members, serves on the Foundation’s Community Grants Committee, and lends her marketing expertise whenever called upon.
“KACF-SF has been a great channel for me to reconnect with the Korean American community. It’s been a humbling experience getting to know some of these incredible community organizations with limited resources tirelessly serving our vulnerable neighbors. I hope to do my small part in helping to raise awareness of these issues and to effectively address the needs through KACF-SF.”
