Eric J. Kim is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Goodwater Capital, a global consumer technology focused venture capital firm that has grown to over $5 Billion in assets since its inception in 2014. Eric has been actively involved with several multi-billion dollar outcomes as an early investor in global internet platforms such as Kakao (KOSDAQ: 035720), Musical.ly (Bytedance / Tik Tok), Coupang (NYSE: CPNG), Xendit, Viva Republica (Toss), Danggeun Market (Karrot), MoMo, and Everly Health.

Prior to co-founding Goodwater, Eric was a Managing Director at Maverick Capital where he helped to build Maverick’s private investments and venture capital business. Eric began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.

As an undergrad at Yale University, Eric majored in Cognitive Science (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude) and was a member of the Grammy-nominated Yale Cellos. Eric also received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Eric serves on the advisory board of the Johns Hopkins Alliance for Science and Technology, as a Co-Organizer of Stand with Asian Americans (SwAA) and on the non-profit boards of CollegeTrack, the Asian Pacific Fund and the St. Thomas More Chapel at Yale University.

Author & Journalist

Min Jin Lee is a recipient of fiction fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the Radcliffe Institute of Advanced Study at Harvard, and the New York Foundation for the Arts. She is the author of novels, Free Food for Millionaires and Pachinko, a finalist for the National Book Award for Fiction and a New York Times 10 Best Books. An international bestseller, Pachinko will be translated into over 30 languages. Her writings have appeared in The New Yorker, NPR’s Selected Shorts, The New York Review of Books, The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, The Times Literary Supplement, The Guardian, Times of London, Food & Wine, Vogue and The Wall Street Journal. Lee was named as an Adweek Creative 100 for being one of the “10 Writers and Editors Who are Changing the National Conversation” and a Frederick Douglass 200. She is a Writer-in-Residence at Amherst College and serves as a trustee of PEN America and a director of the Authors Guild. She is currently at work on Name Recognition: A Memoir of Visibility and Voice and is researching and writing her third novel, American Hagwon, which will complete “The Koreans” trilogy.

David Chang is founder of Momofuku and Majordomo Media. Since opening his first restaurant, Momofuku Noodle Bar, in 2004, he has been recognized as GQ’s Man of the Year and a Time 100 honoree. He is the host of The Dave Chang Show podcast and three documentary series, Ugly Delicious, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, and The Next Thing You Eat. His cookbooks and memoir are New York Times bestsellers.

Steve Jang is both a venture capital investor and technology entrepreneur. Based in San Francisco, Steve serves as founder and a managing partner of Kindred Ventures, an early-stage seed venture fund. Kindred's mission is to invest in brilliant and dedicated founders at the earliest stages of building their technology startup and, ultimately, our collective future. Over the past 12 years, Steve and Kindred Ventures have backed over 100 companies and projects across different theme areas, including Uber, Coinbase, Postmates, Tonal, Color Health, Zora Protocol, FWB, and Blue Bottle Coffee.

Most recently as an entrepreneur, Steve is a co-founder of Bitski, a NFT wallet and marketplace platform, and served as the Co-Founder/CEO of SoundTracking, a popular mobile music service that was Apple's Best iPhone Music App of 2011 and was acquired by Rhapsody in 2014. As a startup advisor and angel investor, he also served as an early advisor to Uber since the founding of the company, up through initial product launch, global expansion, and then IPO. Steve also serves as an advisor to Expa, a startup studio based in SF and NY, mentoring startup teams on product development, team building, and company growth.

In media and entertainment work, Steve has co-produced music videos for J Dilla and The Strokes in the 2000s, created the not-for-profit AAPI Storytellers virtual film festival in 2021, and is an Executive Producer of upcoming documentary films, including one about the visionary video artist, Nam June Paik, and another which tells the story of the creation of the world-changing Ethereum community, which spawned the Web3 movement.

Comedian and emcee PK has performed at The Icehouse, World Famous Laugh Factory, Improv, Comedy Store, Haha Comedy Club, and at over 100 universities across the United States.

In addition to his comedy, PK is the Founder and Executive Director of a non profit organization and annual Asian talent show called Kollaboration, which is now in its 20th year.

Paul Song is Director of Trusts and Estates at Bonhams Auctioneers in Los Angeles, with over 30 years of experience in the auction field.

A well-known international expert in the field of rare coins and bullion, Song joined Bonhams in 2009, established the Coin Department and successfully implemented the specialty auctions in both Los Angeles and New York. As an expert and auctioneer, Song is instrumental in business development across categories, and is a frequent speaker in trade conferences and other professional venues. Throughout his career Song has handled over $330 million worth of property through auctions internationally.

Song holds an executive MBA from New York University, Stern School of Management in International Finance and Marketing, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Mr. Song is an experienced Auctioneer, and Director/Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the fine art industry, skilled in Marketing Management, Digital Strategy, Negotiation, Luxury Goods, and E-commerce. Song and his family currently reside in Los Angeles.
