KACF-SF is proud to invest in organizations that provide important resources and services to the Korean American community. Since our founding in 2014, we have disbursed over $3.5 MM in grants to local nonprofits serving under-resourced Korean Americans.

Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI)
Strengthens legal rights for Koreans, supports citizenship applications, and empowers civic engagement to amplify voices in civil decision-making.
API Legal Outreach (APILO)
Strengthens legal rights for Koreans, supports citizenship applications, and empowers civic engagement to amplify voices in civil decision-making.
Asian Women’s Shelter (AWS)
Builds community capacity for Korean Americans in the Bay Area to recognize and prevent domestic violence while providing support services for survivors.
Open Door Legal
Offers Korean-language support and legal assistance for those in need of legal representation.
In addition to the Community Grants, starting in 2025, KACF-SF is collaborating with the Korean American Community Foundation in New York (KACF) to expand support nationwide. The organizations receiving National Grants funded by KACF-SF are:
Korean American Special Education Center (KASEC)
Supports Korean Americans with developmental disabilities in overcoming language and cultural barriers to access necessary resources and services.
Korean American Family Services (KFAM)
Provides housing assistance and social services for victims of domestic violence and foster youth in the Korean American community.
