THE HANA GALA

The Hana Gala is the flagship event of the Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco (KACF-SF), held annually to celebrate the local Korean community, gather Korean philanthropists, and fundraise to support the most critical needs of Koreans. It is the largest event of its kind on the West Coast.

Join us to celebrate the Hana Gala. This event is not just a festivity but also an opportunity to make a difference and address some of the pressing issues affecting our community, such as mental health, senior care, gender-based violence, economic security, and hate crimes. Your presence at the Hana Gala signifies a commitment to creating a positive change. Let's come together to reflect on the achievements of the past and contribute towards a future of an impactful, empowered, and generous Korean American community.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we highlight the people who tell our stories. Storytellers do more than just entertain, but they inform and educate. Storytellers speak for those who can’t speak for themselves.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in making a lasting impact on the Korean American community. Your presence and support are integral to our shared journey, and we look forward to sharing this special occasion with you.

WHY OUR WORK MATTERS

KACF-SF is the only organization of its kind in the Bay Area addressing critical needs in the Korean American community.

Recognizing the crucial role of culture and language in how critical services are delivered and received, KACF-SF has invested over $3.5MM in over 50 nonprofit partners and community organizations to date. Our work ensures the Korean American community in the greater Bay Area has access to essential services that are readily available, culturally appropriate, and accessible in the Korean language.
