Jane started her educational career with the New York City Department of Education. Her love of teaching began in her 4th grade classroom in the Bronx. She has been a teacher for 15 years and currently serves as a Middle School Assistant Principal.  Jane seeks to create culturally responsive mental health systems for Asian families in her District, and she is an advocate for AAPI inclusion and belonging.
