Rosa Kim is a board member of the Fremont Union High School District and an active advocate for cultural and educational initiatives. Born in Seoul, Korea, she worked as a TV writer before moving to the U.S. in 2000. She has dedicated over a decade to Korean language and history education, serving as principal of Silicon Valley Korean School and co-authoring Korean history textbooks. She co-founded the Young Korean American Academy and the AAPI Multicultural Festival, fostering cultural awareness and community engagement. Rosa also serves as co-president of the Asian American Parent Association, championing student empowerment and representation.
