Town Hall Brings Korean American Leaders Together

In early July, Korean American Community ServicesKorean American Bar Association of Northern California, and KACF-SF brought together over 50 Korean American leaders representing 27 organizations and associations for a Korean American Town Hall. Opening remarks by Consul General Yoon Sang-soo and a presentation on hate crimes by Alameda County Deputy District Attorney Glenn Kim were followed by a lively discussion on community issues, including responding to anti-Asian hate crimes and how to better work together to sustain our collective safety and well-being.

As a convener of the Korean American community, we look forward to continuing the effort to empower and amplify our collective voice.

KACF-SF receives a grant from Invest in Others!

We are thrilled to announce that KACF-SF received a $25,000 grants through  the Grants for Change program to help improve the safety and security of vulnerable senior and immigrant community members.

As part of this work, we partnered with Esther Lim to produce copies of bilingual (English/Korean) “How to Report a Hate Crime” booklets that share important prevention tips - as well as what to do if you are a victim of a hate crime.

Do you need booklets for your community members? Please email Minha at minha@kacfsf.org!
