News and Updates  May 2020 View this email in your browser SUPPORTING OUR SENIORS  Our deepest thanks to entrepreneur and philanthropist Mr. Chong-Moon Lee for his leadership in the community. His generous donation of $300,000 has enabled us and our nonprofit partners to provide ongoing support and meals to over 600 Korean seniors during this time.  We are looking for additional volunteers to support our senior care programs and other COVID-19 response work. Click below to learn more.   Volunteer With Us FIRST VIRTUAL GALA  LET'S CELEBRATE! Saturday, May 30, 6 - 7:30 PM CHEERS! Join us (virtually) on May 30 to celebrate and raise funds for our community. The hilarious PK will emcee the festivities, which will highlight the work we do and honor two Korean trailblazers: astronaut Soyeon Yi and 'Survivor' Yul Kwon, who will join us in a fireside chat with KQED's Mina Kim!  Your 100% tax deductible ticket purchase will help ensure that KACF-SF can continue to provide critical support and resources to our nonprofit partners on the frontlines.  Purchase Tickets RESOURCES FOR THE UNDOCUMENTED  Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants (DRAI) and DACA Renewal  DISASTER RELIEF FUND: The state of California is providing one-time, state-funded disaster relief assistance for undocumented adults. An undocumented adult who qualifies may receive $500 in direct assistance. Applications are first come, first serve starting Monday, May 18 at 9am.
