CONGRATULATIONS, SOPHIA!
Our beloved KACF-SF co-founder and Board President, Sophia Oh-Kim, was awarded the Citation of the Prime Minister by South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was recognized for her longstanding leadership in philanthropy and public service. As Board Chair, Sophia received the award on behalf of KACF-SF for raising over $1.6 million to distribute to nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area serving under-resourced Korean Americans. She is a true visionary for our community, and we are grateful for her leadership!

WELCOME OUR NEWEST BOARD MEMBER
Bay Area native James Kim has long been a supporter of the Korean American community and KACF-SF, both personally and through his work as a partner at Qatalyst Partners. In fact, for all the James Bond fans out there, he was warmly known as the '007' bidder at our 2019 gala! He is also familiar with KACF-SF's impact firsthand: his parents are members of one of the senior centers we support. We are thrilled to welcome his leadership and guidance to our Board!  Check out his full bio here.
