EVERYONE BENEFITS FROM BEING COUNTED

The US Census is a national headcount that happens once every ten years. Census data helps the government decide how to distribute billions of dollars in federal funding for a wide range of social services, including housing, healthcare, and education. It is also used to calculate the number of congressional seats in each state, and to draw congressional boundaries. Local businesses and community organizations rely on census information to decide where to open new businesses and what services to offer. In the Bay Area, the Korean/Korean American community faces challenges such as high poverty rates, physical and mental health needs, and a sizeable elderly population. An undercount in the 2020 Census means that our community will miss out on critical dollars over the next decade to support these vulnerable populations. We need your help to get all Korean and Korean Americans civically engaged![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1576535869305{padding-left: 25px !important;}"]
