Join the 2015 Community Grants Committee (CGC) and contribute to KACF-SF's participatory grantmaking process. Members of the CGC are all volunteers who work in small teams to review grant applications, gather information during site visits, and make recommendations for funding that will be considered by the KACF-SF Board of Directors. Click HERE for more information and to submit an application.

KACF-SF will open its 2015 grantmaking cycle in mid-June with a series of information sessions for community service organizations in the Bay Area aligned with our mission and interested in learning more about our community grants.

Two information sessions will be held at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, 2440 West El Camino Real, Suite 300, Mountain View, CA 94040:

• Friday, June 19, 2015 -- 10:00am - 11:30am (session will be conducted in Korean)
• Thursday, June 25, 2015 -- 10:30am - 12noon

The 2015 grant application form will be available on June 19. Deadline for applications is Tuesday, September 15.

KACF-SF is pleased to announce its first set of grant recipients since the Foundation was formally launched in October. A total of $100,000 in grants is being awarded to six community-based organizations to support critical capacity-building and programs targeting under-served Korean Americans in the greater Bay Area.
