Celebrating 2019

In the past five years, we have:

  • Raised and committed more than $1.36 Million to our partners and our community in the areas of senior care and empowerment, mental health and wellness, youth empowerment, community safety, and civic engagement.
  • Established 5 new conferences and programs
  • Mobilized more than 100 volunteers and 6,000 volunteer hours into the community
We accomplished this TOGETHER. It is a powerful testament to our community’s desire to uplift those in the fringes of our community and honor those who have been marginalized for too long.

Join us in our mission to build a vibrant, healthy, and empowered Korean American community that meets the needs of all. Your continued support will make a real, lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

We are delighted to announce our 2019-2020 community partners! We are proud to support the work you do in helping to build a vibrant, healthy, and empowered Korean American community in the Bay Area. Click here to learn about the programs we are funding for the next year.
In preparation for 2020 Census, we worked collaboratively with our partners and community leaders to hold a first-of-its-kind Korean/Korean American bilingual Census convening in the Bay Area.  We also opened our first civic engagement application in order to engage Korean/Korean American participation around 2020 Census.

Congratulations to the recipients of our 2020 Census Outreach and Education Grant! We are thrilled to support organizations that are working to increase awareness of and participation in the upcoming census.
Full participation in the 2020 Census is critical to ensuring that the Bay Area Korean American community receives the appropriate resources, services, and representation it needs and deserves. Visit our website for more census information and resources in English and Korean.

Now Accepting Karen Ha Scholarship Applications

The Karen Ha Scholarship provides needs-based financial and mentorship support to talented students in pursuing their college dreams. We are currently accepting applications for students who plan to enroll full-time at a public college or university in California in the 2020-2021 academic year.

The annual award honors the legacy of Karen Ha, a founding member and inaugural Board co-chair of KACF-SF.

Help us spread the word about this special opportunity to students and their families.
